Gaming and Racing Minister Kevin Greene said the NSW Government is targeting 18-24 year-old men frequenting online betting and social networking sites. “This campaign seizes on these feelings of guilt and regret and delivers the message that it’s time to take action and seek help before things get worse", Mr Greene said. |

The final report of the Productivity Commission's Inquiry into Gambling has been released by the Federal Government. The Commonwealth has called for development of pre-commitment for EGMs, the establishment of a Select Committee and rejected calls for the liberalisation of Internet gambling. The 20th Annual National Association for Gambling Studies (NAGS) Conference will be held at Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Gold Coast from 1-3 December 2010. NAGS is Australia’s leading gambling research forum and the annual conference aims to encourage dialogue between the various sectors involved in the gambling debate.
