Gambling on the decline in Tasmania

Gambling in Tasmania has continued to decline according to the latest Social and Economic Impact Study (SEIS) which was released on July 1. It found that the prevalence of gambling in the State has continued to decline from 71.7% in 2008, down to 58.5% in 2017 and was sitting at 47% in 2020.

Gambling Help NSW is changing to GambleAware from 1 July 2021

The transformation into GambleAware is more than a rebrand of services funded by the Office of Responsible Gambling.  It is a redesign of how gambling information, education, support and treatment are delivered. It will provide more information & will provide access to a greater range of support.
