ASA Introduces New Advertising Guidelines (UK)

The UK advertising regulator the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has presented new guidleines in an attempt to protect problem gamblers and prevent underage gambling. The new guidleines came into effect on the 2nd of April.

Addressing the blurry line between monetised gaming and gambling (VIC)

The VRGF has joined with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation to pilot a program to help educate parents on the topic of online gaming and gambling. The program extends to 12 schools and aims to provide parents with practical tips to help their children have a positive online gaming experience.

VCGLR Supervision Charges Now Due (VIC)

Each financial year, gaming venue operators are required to pay a supervision charge to recover the costs of regulating the gaming industry in Victoria. The VCGLR is currently issuing invoices for 1/7/17 to 30/6/18 for the supervision charge to all gaming venue operators.
