Stronger Online Wagering Regulations Come into Force (SA)

Attorney-General, Vickie Chapman has announced a range of new measures to be implemented through South Australia's Gambling Codes of Practice to ensure a consistent national approach to the regulation of interactive wagering.  The new measures come in to effect as of 26 May 2019.

Online Gambling Restrictions to Reduce Consumer Harm (VIC)

The Victorian Government has announced that from 26 May 2019, online betting operators must comply with requirements for betting account deposit limits, restrictions on direct marketing and a ban on perks that encourage consumers to continue betting. These protections will commence by May 2020.
